Course Description:  Using Step-by-Step Spanish textbook, we will use an integrated approach (speaking, reading, and writing) to language learning. This year we will learn to read, write, and speak Spanish to an intermediate level. By the end of the year we will be able to: * Read & understand short literature pieces & engage in simple conversations on everyday topics. * Learn all the names and capitals of the Latin American Countries. * Sing at least 8 kids songs in Spanish, quote 8 Bible verses, pray & tell someone about Jesus in Spanish. Materials Students Must Provide:  Step-by-Step Spanish book, Duolingo app for phone or computer, and school supplies. The Syllabus contains a detailed list of supplies needed for the student.

Parent Requirements:  Practice Spanish with your student or ensure that student is completing assignments and turning them in.
