Course Description:  In the first semester, we will learn about the Revolutionary War. How and why it started, about the Declaration of Independence, and how the battles went. 

The second semester will be the Civil War. How and why it started, how it was for those living in the North and South during battles, and more. 

Plan on activities, crafts, and more as we travel back through time!

Time:  Wednesdays 9:00-10:15 ONLINE

Cost:  $40 per session (follows FEC’s CALENDAR) [Once registered, invoice will be sent – Cash or Check only please]

Supply Fee:  None

Class Prerequisite:  Any student taking this class MUST be able to write independently as there will be writing required.

Materials Teacher Will Provide:  homework, worksheets via Google classroom, video links

Materials Students Must Provide:  one 2 pocket folder, 2 pencils, pencil sharpener, scissors, glue stick, colored pencils, crayons, and markers. Boxes will be needed for a diorama later in the year. Have the ability to print out worksheets. For project supplies, parents will have a list of supplies needed before the session starts.

Parent Requirements:  Students may need help with homework or projects they will be working on at home. Also need to provide internet access to watch videos via YouTube and other ways.
