The goal is to emphasize the balance between theory and application using real-world examples and visualization tools to aid understanding. The textbook we will be utilizing covers a broad range of topics in general chemistry, including:

• Fundamentals: Chemical reactions, atomic structure, and the periodic table.

• Chemical Bonding and Structure: Molecular geometry, hybridization, and intermolecular forces.

• Thermodynamics and Kinetics: Thermochemistry, chemical kinetics, and equilibrium.

• Acids and Bases: Acids, bases, and their reactions. • Electrochemistry: Redox reactions and electrochemistry.

• Organic Chemistry: Introduction to organic compounds and reactions.

• Polymer Chemistry: Synthetic and natural organic polymers.
