Course Description: 

In this class, we will learn how checking and saving accounts work, along with credit cards. Also how to save money, invest, use coupons, shop smart, and more. There will be weekly assignments that must be done. It is imperative that students registered for this academic class have the intention to complete the assignments, attend class, and participate in the classroom. Please, do not register your student if they cannot make this commitment.

Cost:  $290 1st payment due 8/27/24; 2nd payment due 11/5/24

Supply Fee:  $25 per year

Class Prerequisite:  Students must be able to do basic math, read, and write clearly

Materials Teacher Will Provide: Homework and quizzes.

Materials Students Must Provide:  One 2 pocket folder, 2 pencils, a calculator, 1” binder, pencil sharpener, notebook for notes.

Minimum Enrollment:  6

Maximum Enrollment:  16

Parent Requirements:  The parent will need to make sure the student is doing homework and turning it in each week.
