Course Description: This class is about getting creative juices flowing. Each week will have 2 writing prompts, poems, story prompts, or writing exercises to complete. For writing prompts students will be asked to write at least 3 paragraphs, more is always encouraged. This class will NOT focus on punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Instead, we will focus on getting the creative juices flowing. The teacher will be available each week for 30 minutes, it is not required that students come to the online class, but must be able to complete assignments each week if not attending the online class each week.

Class Prerequisite:  Students must be able to read and write legibly or type and send writings each week. Work must be emailed to the teacher each week. The teacher will be available each week for 30 minutes, it is not required that students come to the online class, but must be able to complete assignments each week if not attending the online class each week. It is imperative that students registered for this class have the intention to complete the assignments. Please, do not register your student if they are unable to make this commitment.

Materials Teacher Will Provide: Writing prompts and worksheets that are needed.

Materials Students Must Provide:  pencil, loose leaf paper or notebook for notes or writing.

Parent Requirements:  Parents must make sure work is being done each week and need the ability to print out and scan their student’s completed assignments to return to the teacher. Writing assignments can also be sent via Google Sheets.
