Course Description: In this class students will explore different ways of the more artistic side of photography creativity. This will include use of Photoshop and Light room to edit photos in post. Black and white portraits will also be looked at along with action shots. Light painting, fireworks and more will be included in this class.

Supply Fee:  class supplies are included in cost

Class Prerequisite:  understanding of the exposure triangle and ability to use a DSLR camera

Materials Teacher Will Provide:  fire, explosions, powders, classroom computer for editing and transferring photos, DSLR camera if needed but supplies are limited, 4×6 photo of homework each week, scavenger hunt images and prizes

Materials Students Must Provide:  backpack, camera with carrying case, writing tool

Minimum Enrollment:  4

Maximum Enrollment:  16

Parent Requirements:  talk to students about classroom photography exploration and help with locations for additional photography as needed
