Course Description:

In this class students will explore different ways of the more artistic side of photography creativity. This will include stop motion using clay. The stop motion will begin with writing a story then making it come to life in an edited video using photos taken in class. Light painting, fireworks and more will be included in this class.

Class Prerequisite:  Prior digital camera use and photography.

Materials Teacher Will Provide:  Clay, wood, string and many other materials to make a stop motion video. Light painting equipment for in class use. Additional digital cameras for check out during the semester if students do not have one. These are limited so please let me know asap.

Materials Students Must Provide:  Backpack/bag for camera and/or equipment, notebook/writing tool for notes and handouts

Minimum Enrollment:  4

Maximum Enrollment:  8

Parent Requirements:  There will be meetups outside of the classroom for additional photography opportunities and students will need arrangements to get to and from the locations.
