Course Description: Join me on a fun adventure to Mexico, Central and South America. We will learn why dart frogs are only poisonous in the wild, where pink armadillos live, and Ancient Aztecs lived, explore the largest Rainforest and the things that live in it, and where the tallest waterfall in the world is. We will also learn about Easter Island which belongs to the country Chile, plus learn about the world’s second largest coral reef. It is imperative that students registered for this academic class have the intention to complete the assignments, attend the online class, can be unsupervised, and participate when necessary. Please, do not register your student if they are unable to make this commitment.

Cost: For one student taking both Traveling Fun and Dinosaurs: $500/year; Just this class: $290/year; payments due August 26, 2024 and November 5, 2025; CASH or CHECK ONLY. An invoice will be sent to you once you have registered for class. Payment may be mailed to the address on the invoice or dropped off at Cornerstone on the following Tuesday.
Supply Fee: $30 for both classes; $15 for one class; one-time, non-refundable supply fee
Class Prerequisite: Ability to read, write, and use a computer for typing and writing assignments
Materials Teacher Will Provide: worksheets
Materials Students Must Provide: Notebook, crayons, markers, pencil, folder, scissors, colored pencils optional.
Minimum Enrollment: 3
Maximum Enrollment: 8
Parent Requirements: The teacher will grade all assignments turned in on time. Anything not turned in on time will not be graded. Parents need the ability to print out and scan their student’s completed assignments to return to the teacher.
