Course Description: This class will be an in depth study of the anatomy and physiology of the human body with an emphasis on how we are fearfully and wonderfully created (Psalm 139:14) We will be using Apologia Exploring Creation Advanced Biology The Human Anatomy 2nd edition as well as the student notebook (link below.) This curriculum includes three dissections: a mammal heart, fetal pig and an eye. Homework and tests will be given. Nursing/medical concepts will be included in this class including terminology, common nursing scenarios

Cost:  $200 per semester due Aug 26th and November 4th Cash or check only

Class Prerequisite:  Ability to read, write, and cover material under self-direction at home

Materials Teacher Will Provide:  All materials for dissection

Materials Students Must Provide:  (1) 3 ring binder to keep handouts, homework; pencil (2) From this page find the Advanced Biology Student textbook ($80.10) and the Advanced Biology Student Notebook ($44.10) 

If you shop elsewhere for these books as I did, make sure to get the 2nd Edition.

Parent Requirements:  Parents are to encourage homework completion; parents will be responsible for grading papers and creating report cards if desired.
