Basic Math I

7th – 12th Grade

Jerelyn Sandtner

Course Description:  This middle/high school math course provides students with the basic math skills necessary for pre-algebra and pre-geometry but is supplemental to your at-home homeschool math curriculum. If you have a student that struggles with math concepts or math processes, this class is for your student.  The pace is slow and the weekly homework is manageable.  There are weekly homework assignments, weekly quizzes, and 5 assessments.  The course will cover such things as the number system, ratios, proportions, and percent, expressions and equations, and taxes and fees.  Teacher will grade quizzes and assessments and also provide a syllabus of the lessons covered each week for parents to follow.
