Course Description: In this class students will be learning how film itself works and how to use a film camera on manual mode to photograph B&W and color images. I have 9 Pentax K100O film cameras for use or students may bring their own cameras but understand I am most familiar with the Pentax K1000 and the Canon Ae1 film cameras. B&W photography will begin the classes with color next. Students will receive two rolls of film (1 color and 1 B&W) for in class photography with additional rolls purchasable at a discounted price. Processing will be done through Photo Video Plus by Nathan Brown. Processing additional rolls will be available at a discounted price for students while in photography class. There will be a scavenger hunt with photos shown in class and emailed photos every Tuesday we have class. Prizes are TBD.

Materials Students Must Provide: writing utensil, backpack, ideas

Parent Requirements: provide mobility for students to gain photography experience outside of the classroom
