Course Description:  This class will combine new student instruction with returning student instruction in the Vaganova (Russian) style of ballet technique.  Students will continue developing ballet fundamentals and move towards simple combination work.  Session 1 will be review and the remaining sessions will continue in the instruction from the Vaganova Syllabus Level IB.

Class Prerequisite:  Children should be able to demonstrate skills in paying attention, not interrupting teacher or others, following rules and teacher demonstrations, appropriate behavior in class and with others, and self-control.

Materials Teacher Will Provide: N/A

Materials Students Must Provide: Modest, workout type clothing or ballet leotard and tights; two pair of cotton socks or ballet slippers; dress in layers in colder months.  HAIR MUST BE PULLED BACK AND OFF THE FACE.
