Course Description: This class will combine new student instruction with returning student instruction in the Vaganova (Russian) style of ballet technique.  Students will continue developing ballet fundamentals while adding to their repertoire of movement though allegro, grande allegro and enchainement (ballet combinations.)  Session 1 will be review and the remaining sessions will continue in the instruction from the Vaganova Syllabus Level II, III, and parts of IV.  Movement games and the choreographic process are also included.  Open enrollment all year long.

Class Prerequisite:  Students should be able to demonstrate skills in paying attention, not interrupting teacher or others, following rules and teacher demonstrations, appropriate behavior in class and with others, and self-control.

Materials Teacher Will Provide:  N/A

Materials Students Must Provide:  Modest, workout type clothing or ballet leotard and tights; two pair of cotton socks or ballet slippers; dress in layers in colder months.  HAIR MUST BE PULLED BACK AND OFF THE FACE.
