Books Every Highschooler Should Read ONLINE
Grades 9-12
Teacher Misty Thompson
Teacher absence policy-Make-up class
Course Description: This class, which focuses on books every high school student should read, will be a discussion class. Many of these books were written at different times than we live in now. Some talk about racism and prejudice, while others discuss violence and social divides. We will be reading all these books throughout the semester, and the list of books we are reading is below. We will be reading multiple chapters a week and having discussions on these books. If you’d like your student to do a book report, that is up to the parent. You can either get the books new, on a Kindle, or thrifted. The list is not in the order we will be reading them, but in alphabetical order for you to purchase.
