Are You Ready for High School Math? Online
Grades 7-9
Teacher Jerelyn Sandtner
Teacher absence policy-Recorded class
Course Description: The question is straightforward, but the answer may differ depending on the student. This middle/high school math course provides students with an easy and efficient way to review the necessary concepts and skills required for high school math success. This course can support a slow-paced learner and work alongside your at-home math curriculum supplementing your student with manageable assignments. If you would like your student to start out strong in high school math programs, brushing up on and keeping fresh the important concepts aid the student’s success, but more importantly, their self-confidence. In this online course, students can provide the teacher with their own questions about newly learned material and/or struggles with specific concepts. If you have a student that struggles with math concepts or math processes, this class will allow for the student’s pace and learning style. The homework assignments reflect the lesson covered each week and will not compromise an at-home math course and its assignments. The goal is to aid the student with quality instruction and not quantity of work. Feel free to contact the teacher for more information and with questions.
