Course Description: Could your student take the United States Citizenship Test and pass? This middle/high school course is designed to introduce students to the basics of federal, state, and local governments in our country and the framework on which they are based. They will compare and contrast the US government to other governments, political parties, political ideations, and more. The class will also participate in Citizenship Simulations. This will not only meet, but exceed becoming a well-informed citizen. Can contact the teacher with questions.

Cost:  $330/year; Cash or Check only; Due: 8/26 and 11/4

Supply Fee:  $20 – one time, nonrefundable

Class Prerequisite:  None

Materials Teacher Will Provide:  Citizenship Simulations, quizzes, and assessments. Teacher will grade quizzes and assessments.

Materials Students Must Provide:  Notebook for additional notetaking, pencils, highlighters, and a folder.

Minimum Enrollment:  4

Maximum Enrollment:  14

Parent Requirements:  Purchase Student Book POWER BASICS American Government textbook and Student Workbook: Good Reads, Thrift Books, Abe Books, Christianbook.com. Assign a high school credit if your student qualifies.
