Teacher Jerelyn Sandtner

Teacher absence policy-Online classes

Course Description: Please read the “Math Course Explained” in the “Classes” tab to find the best fit for your student. This middle/high school math course provides students with the continued basic math skills necessary for pre-algebra and pre-geometry but is supplemental to your at-home homeschool math curriculum. If you have a student that struggles with math concepts or math processes, this class continues where Basic Math I leaves off with discounts and mark-ups. Students will continue to apply learned knowledge and learn ratios, proportions, and percent word problems, expressions and equations, geometry, statistics and probability, and the coordinate plane and functions is for your student. The pace is slow and the weekly homework is manageable. There are weekly homework assignments, weekly quizzes, and 5 assessments. Teacher will grade quizzes and assessments and also provide a syllabus of the lessons covered each week for parents to follow. Can contact the teacher with questions.
