Course Description: In this class we will be focusing on learning how to use a checkbook, savings accounts, social and workplace skills, budgeting, daily health and hygiene skills, renting your first home and more. We are hoping to also have some special guests come in and talk to students about renting, and other important things students going off on their own will need to learn about.

Cost:  $40 per session – cash or check

Supply Fee:  One-time, non-refundable $30 fee

Class Prerequisite:  Students must be able to do basic math.

Materials Teacher Will Provide:  All other supplies

Materials Students Must Provide: 2 pocket folders, 2 pencils, pencil sharpener, scissors, glue stick, and planner (basic planner is fine).

Minimum Enrollment:  8

Maximum Enrollment:  16

Parent Requirements: The parent will need to make sure their student is doing homework and help their student with the budget they will be planning.
